Mark: Celtic cross. Opposer and others have for many years used various Celtic crosses as beer tap handles. The Celtic cross combines a cross with a ring, or wheel, which surrounds the intersection of the cross. It is a well-known symbol of Celtic Christianity, having pre- Christian origins, and it commonly appears in all forms of Celtic art. This symbol is also referred to as the Irish Cross, or as the Cross of Iona.
